As you know, the British drive on the "wrong" side of the road. If you've never been to Britain, you probably think this is the Big Difference... It's not. Driving over there is very, very different, and it's just not clear to North Americans how British traffic really works. What are the rules of the game? And what about the dreaded roundabouts? I hope to make these things a lot more clear (and a bit more fun).

My book won't tell you all the ins and outs of the British Highway Code, but it will dispel much confusion and help you stay out of trouble. By doing so, I hope to keep you in touch with your original purpose for going to Britain, whether that be business or just plain old R & R.
If you want to try out the book, to kick the tyres as it were, then Lead on MacDuff... The links below will give you a flavour of the book, and some basics of driving in Britain. Check the Reviews to see what others think. Please note: the book was updated and reprinted June, 1997.
